Whether you just want a relaxing massage or a more intense therapeutic massage, Darby is wonderful. Working in healthcare, I have chronic shoulder pain. Just one session with Darby did wonders after 2 years of pain. After 3 sessions, I'll be a customer for life. She's very reasonably priced and both the atmosphere and Darby herself puts even the most apprehensive person at ease. I highly recommend True roots and have made several referrals.

    I recently started using the sauna at True Roots and it is such a wonderful way to detox and support my immune system. The rooms are comfortable and welcoming. The saunas are cozy and clean. Special amenities like hot towels, salt stones, filtered water and tea provide one with a true spa experience. True Roots Massage is truly a big city spa with small town service!!

    I am visiting family for thanksgiving and had the opportunity to come in with Darby for a full body massage and it was amazing. I am a Chicago city gal who has had many a professional massage and this one was the best one I ve ever had!! The place was so warm and comforting and personal and the body butter from lifemoods was so wonderful I had to buy some to take home after. Whether you live in the area or are just visiting GO HERE I recently started running and she took special care to work out my legs!

    I love True Roots Massage! Every visit addresses whatever my current needs are. Darby is AMAZING! She truly reads my muscles and knows what will help me. She is personable and truly cares about each of her clients; in truth, I feel like family when I am there. If you ever need a massage and some good tlc, True Roots is the place for you! :)

    Travel around 2,389 miles to take a seminar in the Kansas area. I was for 2 weeks which was draining regarding the information and the dynamics that occurred in the seminar. When I returned from the seminary it was so drained that I could not hold it and it was at that moment that I walked several steps from my hotel and found this place full of peace and harmony called True Roots massage. The treatment and the service was something out of this world. Darby with his noble smile and his full heart to transmit all his positive energies so that my body could find the direction of healing. It really was an angelic experience. Certainly if you need your heart and your soul to align in the direction of healing do not hesitate to visit this beautiful and peaceful place full of peace and harmony. You will not regret I guarantee it

    Wonderful experience! Time and time again Darby provides excellent service above and beyond what is necessary. What started as an indulgence, quickly became a part of my self-care regimen. I have been in several car accidents and thrown multiple times by horses. This, along with hours in the car, and sitting in an office chair, had led to stiff and sore muscles and a decrease in my activity level. It was apparent from the start I had more mobility and less pain after an hour's time on Darby's table. Now, an added benefit is that I get sick less often! I am very thankful for the work Darby does. She keeps me moving and doing my job better!

    Darby is very thorough. She asked if I had any issues and then she concentrated more on that area. She used a new massage cream that seemed to hydrate my skin better than her old lotion and did not leave the residue of the massage oil. I highly recommend True Roots and Darby. I always love massage day!

    Darby has a God-given gift that she willingly shares with every person that schedules a session on her table. Each time I am there, I feel like I’m her only concern from the time I enter the studio until I step out of it. She listens intently. She personalizes that session to your current needs. She ensures that she has addressed each and every concern you have before you leave. Time at True Roots has become medicinal physically and spiritually for me.

    The services offered at True Roots Massage are top notch. Darby has a true gift in her hands. Her massage is personalized and she is very in tuned to her clients and their needs as well as preferences. True Roots offers many great products from great vendors. Essential oils, soaps, lotions, teas and their newly added chocolate. When you visit with the staff at True Roots, you know instantly they are concerned with the whole person, body, mind & spirit.

    I Love True Roots Massage !! I am always welcomed by the beautiful Darby Schaeffer. Darby has truly found her calling and talent given to her by our Lord. Every experience is better than the last. Whatever is on your mind as Darby says " Leave it on the table" . True Roots is truly a relaxing, safe. secure and humbling environment. And I love Darby's frequent answers to things by saying "Amen Sister !" If you haven't taken the time to visit Darby, it would be a gift to yourself to stop by.

    Facials by Valerie are amazing. Relaxing yet invigorating with wonderful products. My complexion and skin have improved greatly. My grandson (12 yr old) had his first massage by Darby and he was willing to go back an hour later for another massage. Darby explained what she was going to do and made both of us very comfortable. Cannot wait for my massage with Darby! I highly recommend both of these ladies and this spa! Professional and personable.

    My massage was excellent! I left feeling relaxed with no tension in my muscles or joints. Darby listened to everything I needed done and applied just the right amount of pressure when needed. I highly recommend True Roots for a good massage.

    I saw Jessica! She was very prompt and welcoming. I felt comfortable the whole time. This was the most relaxed I’ve ever been after a massage. She was able to help my muscle tension and stress without causing me any pain. I will definitely be back!

    I am a college student in town and this is my second time getting a massage from Darby. Not only is she talented in getting the stress knots and tense muscles to loosen up, but she ensured I was comfortable through her communication.     Darby does an amazing job at addressing my problem areas with each regular visit. Recently I asked her to put together a mother/daughter experience and she went above and beyond from the treats she brought in to her explanation of yoga and made my teen feel very comfortable and at ease for her first time visit! I can’t recommend her enough!
